Funding your home care in Sydney

Most of our Sydney clients access care through the Support at Home program, which replaced Home Care Packages on 1 November 2025. Nursing and allied health are fully government funded — you contribute nothing — and since 1 October 2026 personal care is fully funded too. For everyday living services such as cleaning and gardening you pay a contribution set by Services Australia from your income and assets assessment; full pensioners pay the least. We will walk you through your exact numbers before you commit to anything.

Support at Home: Government-funded program for people aged 65 and over — or 50 and over if you are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, or homeless or at risk of homelessness. Eight ongoing classifications, set by assessed need.
Private pay: Available without a government assessment — contact us to discuss hourly rates.
